Obituary of Luz Maria Narvaez Rivera

Ocklawaha - Luz Maria Narvaez Rivera, 80, died at her residence on Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and moved to this area from New Jersey in 1983. She was a member of Souls Harbor First Pentecostal Church and attended Pentecostal Church Movimiento Misionero Mundial in Belleview and was a homemaker and a hard worker. She enjoyed gardening, farming, loved raising animals and fishing. She is survived by her daughters, Madeline Delfin, Belleview, Aracelis Smith, Ocklawaha; brothers, Ramón Narvaez, Belleview, William Narvaez, Puerto Rico; sisters, Esther Narvaez, Puerto Rico, Irma Narvaez, Puerto Rico and Rosa Narvaez, Puerto Rico; 4 grandchildren, Eddie, Grace, Jacqueline, and Steven; and 2 great-grandsons, Esaias and Joel. Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Friday, January 28, 2011 at Souls Harbor First Pentecostal Church, 12650 SE Highway 484, Belleview with Bishop James Varnum officiating. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview and one hour prior at the church on Friday.
