Obituary of Gerald Jerome Mistele

THE VILLAGES — Gerald Jerome Mistele, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. Mr. Mistele was born in Milwaukee and moved to The Villages from there in 2003. He was a dockworker; member of the German Club; Sumter Singles; and his hobbies included golf and woodworking. Survivors include his son, Randall, The Villages; daughter, Becky A. Pogacar, New Berlin, Wis.; sisters Maxine and Geraldine, both of Brooksville, Sharon, Wausau, Wis., Kathy, Des Moines, Iowa, and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services of The Villages. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Inurnment with military honors will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
