Obituary of John Piluzza
John J. Piluzza, 81, of The Villages, FL., died January 28, 2011. He was born in Stamford, Connecticut.
He moved to the Villages in 2000. He is a member of St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion, the Italian-American Social Club, Ridgefield Men's Club, Ridgefield Golf Association, Perkin-Elmer Retiree Club all in Connecticut, and a Member of Knights of Columbus of St. Timothy Community Catholic Church. Hobbies include golf, traveling, gardening, cameras, computers, and being a grandfather. He is an avid New York Yankees fan and a New England Patriots fan.
He is a Veteran of the US Army and was a Manager for Perkin-Elmer Corporation for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, "Mickey" Piluzza and his daughter Karen Bouffard of The Villages; his son Gary Piluzza of Balboa Island, CA; his sister Marie Bovaof Stanford, CT., and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 10 am, at St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Summerfield, FL., with interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
