Obituary of Marvin P. Elsenpeter
Marvin P. Elsenpeter, age 74, of Ocala, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. He was born in Maple Lake, MN on February 25, 1936. He moved to Miami at the age of 14 and attended Coral Gables High School. He served in the US Army. After his military service he returned to Miami before moving to California where he lived for most of his lifetime. Marvin worked as an Accountant in the banking industry. His hobbies included watching sports and traveling. He was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in Ocala, FL where he was a member of the choir. His survivors include two sisters Audley Shockey and Gloria Trinkle of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5pm to 7pm with a prayer service being held at 6pm. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 4047 NE 21st Street, Ocala, FL on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11am. Inurnment will take place at Miami Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in memory of Marvin.
