Obituary of Michael Paul LaChapelle

LaChapelle, Michael Paul The Villages, Florida - Michael Paul LaChapelle, 69, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Born in Exeter, NH, he moved to The Villages in 2004 from Wells, ME. He worked as a Foreman for United Technologies and served in the United States Navy. He was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, American Legion Post 347, and Elks Club (Wells, ME). He is survived by his wife of 46 years Carol-Ann LaChapelle of The Villages, Florida; children Scott LaChapelle of Nashua, New Hampshire; Daria Young of Kenduskeag, Maine ; Henry LaChapelle of Wells, Maine; brother John LaChapelle of The Villages, Florida; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Henry Eugene LaChapelle and Mary Ann Colby. A visitation will be held from 4 pm - 6 pm on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd. A memorial mass will be held at 8:30 AM on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 1351 Paige Place. A committal service will be held at Florida National Cemetery.
