Born February 26, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York; died February 23, 2011 in Ocala, Florida. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Joanne C. of Ocala, FL; daughters, Dawn Miller of Ocala, FL, Margo McDonald of Coram, NY, Patricia Walters of New York; sons, Roy W., III of Bethpage, NY, and Glenn Walters of Farmingville, NY; daughters, Darleen Walters of Ocala, FL, and Cherise Walters of Ocala, FL; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard S. Walters. Visitation Monday 6-8PM with funeral service being held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 12PM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES, 352-873-4114.
