Obituary of Robert Edward Wilson

WILSON, ROBERT EDWARD, 80 Belleview - Robert Edward Wilson, 80, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Tuscany Hospice House in Summerfield. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to this area 18 years ago. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview where was an usher. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and a 4th degree Knight, active in the honor guard, a member of VFW, Ocala, and a NRA Hunting Safety Instructor. He was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force, serving for 35 years during Korea and Vietnam. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and building and flying model airplanes. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife of 58 ½ years, Margaret "Margie" Wilson, Belleview; sons, Robert E. (Lynn) Wilson, III, Forked River, NJ, James T. (Dianne) Wilson, Stewart, FL; brother, Harold Wilson, Baton Rouge, LA, and a grandson, Chris Wilson. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 SE Highway 301, Belleview with Fr. David Vivero officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Theresa Catholic Church Building Fund.
