Obituary of Patricia Rozell Roth

Patricia R. Roth (nee Bigsby) 74 of Summerfield, died peacefully Sunday, February 27, 2011. Pat was born in Beloit, WI on October 24, 1936 to the late Dr. Gordon and Evelyn Bigsby. She resided in Elgin, IL before retiring to Spruce Creek South in 1995. Pat was an avid reader, a master crossword puzzle solver, and a novice golfer. She enjoyed knitting and shared her skill with her grandchildren. Pat loved to travel and was especially fond of cruises. She was a devoted Christian and a long-time member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Survivors include her beloved husband and best friend of 54 years, Ellwyn Roth; son, Steven (Michele); daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Strzok; six grandchildren; brothers, Jon (Maija) and David. Private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Tuscany House Hospice, 17395 SE 109th Terrace Rd, Summerfield, FL 34491 or to the American Breast Cancer Society.
