Obituary of Richard F. Koubek

SUMMERFIELD — Richard F. Koubek, 79, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Mr. Koubek was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Summerfield from Gulfport, Miss., in 2000. He was a retired international marketing manager with Motorola after 34 years; member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake; Spruce Creek South Veterans Club; Dance Club at Spruce Creek; the New England Club; an Air Force veteran of the Korean War; and hobbies were woodworking and cooking. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Ann; daughter, Cynthia A. Koubek, Ormond Beach; sons Richard J., Francisville, La., Jeffrey, Burlington, Wis.; brother, William, Naperville, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 14, at North Lake Presbyterian Church.
