Obituary of Debra Ann Melton

Debra Ann Melton, 56, passed away on March 3, 2011 in Ocala, FL. She was born in Dunkirk, New York to Charles and Virginia Greene on January 3, 1955 and attended schools in Binghamton, NY, Gainesville, FL and Grand Haven, MI. She graduated from Grand Rapids Junior College with an LPN Nursing Degree. She also received her Paramedic license and worked in South Florida as a Paramedic for 10 years. She moved to Ocala from Tennesse in 2001. She recently received her RN degree from the Central Florida Community College in Ocala, FL and worked in Home Health Care. She was an avid traveler in the U.S. and abroad. While traveling was her passion, her number one love was her animals. She owned two horses and a dog named Mollie. She loved to go trail-riding and rode several times for the benefit of the Hospice organization. Debbie will be missed by her mother, Virginia Greene, brother Kevin Greene, his wife Wanda and their daughter, Jessica, and many friends.
