Obituary of Shirley McQuaig

McQUAIG, SHIRLEY RUTH PENUEL Ocala - Shirley Ruth Penuel McQuaig, 61, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at her home. She was born and raised in Ocala and was manager of Gator's Cleaners for twenty plus years. She enjoyed music, being with family, horse racing and fishing. She is survived by her husband, Louie McQuaig of Ocala, her daughters, Cynthia Mouser and Billie Jo Dood both of Ocala, her sons, Louie McQuaig of OH, Dennis McQuaig of NC, Victor McQuaig of KY and Keith McQuaig of WA, her sisters, Doris McManus of NC, Marion Richards of Silver Springs, Judy Pauls and Jodi Brabeau both of Ocala, and her brother, William B. Penuel of Silver Springs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Carter and her brother, Paul Penuel. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1400 NE 3rd St., with Pastor Timothy Bass officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
