Obituary of Anthony Joseph Peterlin

THE VILLAGES — Anthony Joseph Peterlin, 82, died Friday, March 18, 2011. Mr. Peterlin was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to The Villages from Pensacola in 1990. He was employed at The Villages Recreation Department at Paradise Recreation Center; member of St. Timothy Catholic Community, Lady Lake; American Legion Post 347; Army veteran of the Korean War; and hobbies were golf, fishing, hunting and reading. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Sanderson; son, Gary, Lake Geneva, Wis.; daughter, Nanette Caldwell, McHenry, Ill.; stepdaughter, Brandi Merchant, Ocala; stepson, Ron Summers, Belleview; and nine grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at St. Timothy Catholic Community. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services-The Villages.
