Obituary of Doris Jean Clemens
Doris Jean Clemens, 75, Summerfield, FL, passed away, Monday, March 21, 2011. She was born in Scottsville, KY and was the owner operator of D's TePe & Mayo Food Center, Mayo MD.
She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, FL. She also was a member of Business Women' Association of AA County, MD, Wives of Sub Vets of WWII Anchorettes and the Marion County, FL Citizen Patrol.
Doris loved going to Spanish Springs Square, crocheting, knitting, attending the theater, watching the Washington Redskins and listening to traditional country music.
She is survived by her husband, Peter B. Clemens, Summerfield, FL; daughters, Mary Ann Morgan-Boschet, Belleview, FL, Doris (Freda) Nimmo, Conway, SC, Margaret Lynn Tew, North Highlands, CA; son Terry Floyd Cook, Brandywine, MD; brother, Donnie Beller, Bowling Green, KY; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister Beverly Carol Reddick and brother Alfred Wayne Gardner.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, March 25 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478.
