Obituary of Patricia Adkins

Adkins, Patricia Ramona Summerfield, Florida - Patricia Ramona Adkins, 75, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at her home. Born in Lake City, TN she moved to Florida in 1993 from Charleston, WV. She worked as a secretary for the West Virginia Department of Highways. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and sailing. She is survived by her husband Brady L. Adkins of Summerfield, Florida; sister Peggy Hoffman of Charleston, WV; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son Brady L. Adkins, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - The Villages, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd. A committal service will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860 Ocala, Florida 34476.
