Obituary of James B. Johnson

James B. "Jim" Johnson Esq., age 65, of Ocklawaha, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. He was born in Abington, PA on June 4, 1945. Jim was raised in Rocky Mount, NC. He joined the Navy and served for 3 years. He received his education from The United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, LaSalle University and earned his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Jim worked as an Attorney in the Legal profession for 9 years. His law specialty was family and criminal law. Jim moved to Ocklawaha, FL from St. Petersburg, Florida in 1983. He was of the Episcopal faith. Jim was a member of Florida Bar Association. He is survived by his wife Rosemary A. Johnson of Ocklawaha, FL; daughter Elizabeth Wilson of Riverview Fl; son Jed Johnson of Lithia Fl; Step-son Michael Stowe of Snead Island Fl; and grandchildren Aidan, Nathaniel, Samantha, Jacob, Tyler, Sydney and Payton. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1:00pm.
