Obituary of Judith Ellen Lenhard

Judy Lenhard, 72, passed away, Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born in Akron, OH and was an elementary educator in Indiana. She later became Director of Sales and Marketing with Holiday Inn and Host International at Detroit Metro Airport. Judy and her husband, Marty, moved from Milford, MI to New Smyrna Beach, Fl and then to The Villages in 2001. She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, FL where she was a member of a Bible Study Group. She was also a member of Guys and Gals Golf Group, Ladies Wednesday Golf Group, Mah Jong Club, Saturday Morning Couples Golf Group. She volunteered for several organizations in The Villages and throughout her life. Judy is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marty, The Villages; daughtersKaren Sue Lenhard, Atlanta, GA, Lynne (John) Koehler, Chaska, MN; sons, Dave (Cheryl) Lenhard, Crystal Lake, IL, Mitch (Tami) Lenhard, Erie, PA; mother Dorothy Johnson, St. Simons Island, GA; brother John Johnson, St Simons Island, GA; grandchildren Eric and Evan Koehler and Jake and Olivia Lenhard. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday April 26, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, FL with the funeral service following at 12:00 PM. Private interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284 or Norfolk Botanical Garden, 6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518.
