Obituary of Daniel J. Schrader

Daniel J. Schrader Summerfield, FL., Daniel J. Schrader, 79, died Saturday, April 23, 2011. Mr. Schrader was born in Kingston, NY and moved to Florida from Poughkeepsie in 1994. He was a retired Vendor Program Manager for IBM; a member of St. Timothy Catholic Community; Quarter Century Club of IBM; Spruce Creek Over the Hill Golf Gang; hobbies were golf, horseshoes, trumpeter, and Bocce; and a US Army Korean Conflict Veteran, played in the Army Band. Survivors include his wife, Catherine Schrader, Summerfield; four daughters, Linda (John) Senchak, Salt Point, NY; Diane (Joseph) Ose, South Glens Falls, NY; Gayle (James) Gebing, Colorado Springs, CO; Karen (Christopher) Hamel, Poughkeepsie, NY; one son, Daniel (Rene) Schrader, Columbus, OH; one brother, Vincent Schrader; and thirteen grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at St. Martin de Porres Church, Theater Valley Road in Poughkeepsie, NY.
