Obituary of Robert Stewart

STEWART, ROBERT JAMES, 92 Summerfield - Robert "RJ" Stewart, 92, died at Tuscany Hospice House on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. He was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina and moved to this area 29 years ago. He was a building contractor and owner/operator of a grocery store and service station. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Ocala, a lifetime member of NRA and served on the Board of Director of the Carolina Gun Club. Mr. Stewart was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army Air Corp. He is survived by his wife, Reba J. Stewart, Summerfield; daughter, Debbie Gandy, Weirsdale; grandchildren, Carson and Kristen Gandy, Weirsdale, brothers, Harvey Stewart, Jr. and Johnny Lee Stewart, both of Winston-Salem, NC and nephew, Ron Eller, Belleview. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 1600 SE 58th Avenue, Ocala at 11 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2011 with Pastor Phil Wade officiating. Visitation will be Friday May, 6, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview and one hour prior to the service.
