Obituary of Charles William Skinner

SKINNER, BUD Ocklawaha - Bud Skinner, 79, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Estelle's Hospice House. He was born in Birmingham. AL and moved to this area in 1992 from Atlanta, GA. He was a retired photographer for the Atlanta Journal- Constitution. He was a member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church and also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife, Ann F. Skinner of Ocklawaha, his son, Arthur Skinner and his wife Donella of Norcross, GA, his daughters, Susan Adamson and her husband, Stan of Sidney, NE and Terri Titsworth of Lilburn, GA, his sister, Carey Callaway of Atlanta and his grandchildren, Graham Skinner, Ashley Nau, Connor Adamson, Chris Adamson, Kristin Durham, Katie Brost and Nicholas Brost and his great grandchildren, Andrea Nau, Lyndon Nau and Griffin Nau. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church with Pastor James Snell officiating. Visitation will be at the church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. In lieu of flowers please consider making donations to Hospice of Marion County or Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church.
