Obituary of Harold Wollenschlager
Harold "Hal" Wollenschlager, 82, The Villages, FL, formerly of Normal, Il, passed away, Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was born and raised in Farmer City, IL. He served in Germany with the US Army and retired from Eureka as an Engineer after 43 years of service. After retiring in 1995 Hal and his wife Hallie moved to The Villages, FL.
In The Villages he was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and his two dogs, Missie and Jazzy.
He is survived by his wife, Hallie; daughters, Ann Bierbaum, Pinehurst, NC, Sabre Wedeking, Castle Rock, CO, Deanika Schnierle, Bloomington, IL; son, Dan Wollenschlager, Fayetteville, NC; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Memorial services 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL.
