Obituary of Emma Vordemeier Faranda

Emma Vordermeier Faranda, age 87, passed away May 13, 2011 in Ocala, FL. Emma was born November 12, 1923 in Hackensack, N.J., and lived on Long Island, N.Y. with her husband Charles Faranda Sr., (deceased) before moving to Citra, FL in 1975 where they owned and operated the Orange Blossom Motel and Circle Square Travel. She was a travel agent and loved her personal travels to many different countries, especially China Emma loved to laugh and was devoted to her family, in turn her family laughed and cherished her. She is survived by her four loving children Phil (MaryLee) Faranda, Jane (Nelson) Rolph, Dyane Poulos, and Charles (Donna) Faranda, Jr., 8 grandchildren Robert, Debra, Dawn, Peter, Kristina, Candice, Jason, and Jonathan, 15 great grandchildren, and a very large extended family. At Emma's request, her life will be celebrated and honored privately by her family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Juvenile Diabetes or Alzmeimers foundations.
