Obituary of James J. Geraghty

THE VILLAGES — James J. Geraghty, 90, died on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Mr. Geraghty was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved to The Villages from Tampa in 1995. He was a retired geologist and U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include wife, Grethe, The Villages; daughter, Margarite Gary, Huntington, N.Y.; son, Brian, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; sister, Marie Edmonds, Summerfield; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
