Obituary of William Peter Bolzenius

William P. "Bill" Bolzenius, 73, The Villages, FL, passed away, Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Born in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Joseph J and Meta M. (Stieb) Bolzenius Moved to The Villages from Columbus, OH in 2005. He retired from the SYGMA Network, Inc. Member of St Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Community where he served as an Alter Server, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and on the Right to Life Ministry. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years in the 3rd degree. Past Grand Knight council 749, former District Deputy 13, Chicago IL, charter member of council 11275 Trustee, Columbus, OH. Presently, Charter Member of council 14222, Summerfield, FL. 50 years as a 4th degree member in Assemblies in Chicago IL, Columbus OH #2380, and presently Lady Lake #2722, serving as member of the honor guard. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of 51 years; sons, William A. & Mara, Hilliard, OH, James C. & Debra, Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Kimberly A & Michael Krajcik, Russells Point, OH; sisters, Mary & Mike Buckley, Oak Lawn, IL, Patricia A & Tom Sellers, The Villages; sister-in-laws, Lee Bolzenius, The Villages, Carole Berg, Norridge, IL; brother-in-law, Robert K. Peterson, Columbus, OH; sister and brother-in-law, Pat & Al Jurish, Hartford, KY; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews as well as great and great great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles, and sister, Meta M. Peterson. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Community, Summerfield, FL. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
