Obituary of Mary E. Baxley

BAXLEY, Mary E. Mrs. Mary E. Baxley, 82, long time resident of Weirsdale, died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Sylvia's Hospice House. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, she moved to Weirsdale in 1957, coming here from Leesburg. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Weirsdale for many years. She was best known as a loving, caring mother. Mrs. Baxley is survived by her 4 children, Lyn Ohlinger, Bill Baxley, Buddy Baxley, and Gary Baxley, her brother Jack Eason, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Memorial services for Mrs. Baxley will be held at 3 PM Friday, June 3, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Weirsdale with Rev Ron Anderson officiating. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, is handling arrangements. At the family's request, memorial contributions in Mrs. Baxley's memory may be made to First Baptist Church Weirsdale.
