Pennington, Janet T. Janet T. Pennington, age 73, of Ocala, died on Friday June 3, 2011 in Ocala, Florida. She was a 45 yr resident of Marion County and Retired from the Marion County School Board as a Secretary with the South Ocala Elementary School. She was past Sec./Tres. Of the Florida Power Retirees Association. A Member of the First Baptist Church of Ocala. Mrs. Pennington enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She was very proud of her family. She is Survived by her Husband of 54 yrs Charles "Gene" Pennington of Ocala; Son James (Mary) Pennington of Severna Park, MD; Son Joseph ( Angelia) Pennington of Hartsville,SC; Daughter Joan Pennington of Ocala and a Sister Nancy(Edward) Fuge of Cary, SC; 5 Grandchildren and 3Great Grandchildren. There will be a Graveside Service held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Highland Memorial Park 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL 34470 with Pastor Daren Gaddis Officiating. Family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children' s Hospital in Tampa,FL. Arrangements under the direction of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel.
