Obituary of Claude Hubert Hutto
HUTTO, JR. CLAUDE HUBERT
Silver Springs - Claude Hubert Hutto, Jr., 87 , passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Swansea, SC, the son of the late Claude and Bonnie Spires Hutto. He was a member of Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator and had worked for Marion Construction Co., Ring Power Corp. and H.S. Camp Meat Packing. He loved the outdoors including farming, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ellen Henderson Hutto, his son, Michael Hutto and wife Tina of Silver Springs, his daughters, Suzan Melin and husband Norman of Salt Springs and Julia Rike and husband Kenneth of Blitchton, his brother, Edward Hutto of Swansea, SC, his grandchildren, Jennifer Cauthen and husband Ben, Lindsey Robshaw and husband Jason, Garrett Hutto and wife Christina, Byron Hutto and wife Jennifer, Malinda Rike and Matthew Rike and wife Pamela and his great grandchildren, Evelyn Hutto and Benjamin Wood. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Athalia Laman and Ruth Martin and his brothers, Roy and Hoyt Hutto. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hospice of Marion County.
