Obituary of John Stahl

THE VILLAGES — John Stahl Jr. 71, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011. Mr. Stahl was born in Hidash, Hungary, and moved to The Villages from Belleville, N.J., in 2005. He was a Lutheran; a member of thee American Legion Post 347 and he enjoyed golf, biking, swimming and playing cards; he was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Madelyn; son, John Stahl, III, Kearny, N.J.; daughters Nancy Mullener, Summerfield, Judy Matheos, Bloomfield, N.J. and Amy Cheney, Dunellen, N.J.; brother, Henry, Florida; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Legion Post, Box 1534, Lady Lake, FL 32158. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, in charge of arrangements.
