Obituary of Zodie O. Whitescarver

WHITESCARVER, ZODIE O. Ocala - Zodie O. Whitescarver, 88 , passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at Sylvia's Hospice House. She was born in Todd County, KY and moved to Ocala from Deerfield Beach in 1982. She was a member of Maricamp Road Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, E. E. Whitescarver of Ocala, her daughters, Linda Hames and her husband Peek of Belleview and Nancy Geraldine Hardy and her husband Jerry of Belleview, her sister, Delores Delk and her husband Wilmer Ray of Lewisburg, KY and her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Maricamp Road Church of Christ with Jeff Robison officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6-8 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Nathan Hayes Memorial Scholarship Fund at Mt. Dora Bible School, 301 West Ave. Mt. Dora, FL 32757.
