Obituary of Ruby Elizabeth Martin

Ruby Elizabeth McCann "Bobbie" Martin, age 90 of Ocala, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. She was born in Ocala, FL on January 5, 1921. Mrs. Martin lived most all her life in Ocala. During her life she worked for several medical offices including Dentistry and Chiropractic. Mrs. Martin particularly enjoyed working at Your Heart's Desire Craft Store. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and quilting. She attended First Baptist Church in Ocala, FL where she was a member of the Forever Young Group. She was a loving mother and cared so much for her family. Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Moore of Ocala, FL; son Robert M. Martin of Lagunna Hills, CA; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack E. Martin and sisters Jewell Mann, Minnie Bell Stone and Jessie "Jim" Liddell. A visitation will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Monday, November 14, 2011 from 1:00pm until 2:30pm. A graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478 in Mrs. Martin's memory.
