Obituary of Hazel Brock Jerrels

Hazel Brock Jerrels, 78 of Trenton, passed away Nov 9, 2011 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland. Born Nov 13, 1932 to Moses & Ruby Mae Brock, she has been in the Tri County area her lifetime. Mrs. Jerrels was a member of the Tabernacle of Jesus Christ. She was a cashier for Hudson Foods for 40 years and worked for Bett's Big T Restaurant for 14 years. She was always helping others, and enjoyed traveling, cooking and taking care of her grandchildren. She was most proud of her family and her church. She is survived by her children, Jasper William Jerrels, Jr of Spring Hill, FL, Janice Marie (Fred) Kidd of Chiefland, Jerry Wayne Jerrels of Trenton, Kathy Thomas of Hawthorne, brother, Paul Brock of Perry, sister, Jean Bryant of NC, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jasper William Jerrels, Sr, daughter Faye Foster, grandson Jeffery Jerrels, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 12th, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service with Bro. Glenn Tamblingson officiating. Interment will be at Kirkland Cemetery following the service.
