Obituary of Fred Jenkins

Fred H. Jenkins SR. 85, of Ocala, FL Fred H. Jenkins Sr. joined his wife, Evelyn, in heaven on November 11, 1011. Fred was born to William and Jenny Kay Jenkins on July 29, 1926 in New Castle,PA. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Fred married Evelyn Colson on March 23, 1950. He was a proud graduate of the University of Florida. He worked as an accountant fo rthe State of Florida and the White Foundation. He was Blessed with two children, Fred Jr. and Thomas. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, dreat-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Fred was a longtime member of the First Christian Church, Ocala. He was an avid Gator football fan, a lifelong musician, and a longtime golfer. Fred is survived by his son Thomas, his grandchildren, Jessica, Kelsey, Nathaniel, and Cole. His great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Rebekah, and Lillian Rae. His brothers Ed (Joyce) Jenkins and Tom (Dee) jenkins also survive. Fred was preceded in death by his son, Fred Jr., his beloved wife, Evelyn, as well as his brothers David, William, and Richard; Sisters, Louise and Donna Jean. Memorial service will take place Wed November 23, 2011 @ 10 AM - First Christian Church, Ocala Florida
