Aunt Pearl was such a delight. A tiny lady with a huge spirit. And that laugh! She always brought energy and excitement to any gathering. She was not afraid to say things like she saw them, which was usually spot on. Due to my own life, I had not seen Pearl in a few years, and I knew her health was failing, so her passing was unfortunately not a surprise. We are all confident she is in a better place now. And she gets to see Johnny, who was taken from us -- and especially her -- far too soon. His passing always left a shadow over her, and I hope now she can find peace with him. I knew Pearl my whole life, and I have nothing but good memories and things to say about her. A very special person. My condolences to Uncle John, Billy and Jeannie. I hope to see you soon.

I met Pearl and John by chance in Japan in 1988. We were shopping for kimonas at Takashimaya in Yokahama, I noticed this giant American helping a spritly little lady. It was a happening ment to be. Conversation revealed Richard and John had a work history from Raytheon in the 70's. We became friends and shared many adventures and quiet times together as only strangers in a strange land can. It was a memorable time spent with very special people. We are wesr coasters but were able to visit for a beautiful leaf peeping and lobster feast in the east and last year at their home in Florida. I will always be thankful for that chance meeting in Japan and the time spent with Pearl. She was one of a kind.

Dad, Jean, Denise and I were at the Ocala funeral home visitation early last night for a small gathering where many of Mom & Dad's Ocala friends attended to honor Mom's life. The urn was resting amid a beautiful circle of red and white roses, and surrounded by a few framed pictures and personal mementos. Afterwards, most everyone gathered at the Orchid Club in Oak Run for a delicious hearty feast, with lots of chatter and laughs. The most memorable moments for me were the touching comments people said about my Mom and the impressions she made on others. I realized that I was never truly prepared for Mom to leave us.

Both of us have had our lives enriched by Pearl. There has never been a more honest, kind, selfless person. A void has been left in our lives; a hole not easily filled because of how imporant Pearl was to us
Pearl was a woman of family and faith who lived her life for those that she loved. She was a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a niece, a mentor, and a friend.
You will always be a special person in our hearts, Bob and Phyllis
"YOU WERE A PRECIOUS GIFT FROM GOD ABOVE, SO MUCH BEAUTY, GRACE, AND LOVE."

I will always treasure our times together, the holidays, the vacations, shopping, our many, many adventures together. I will never forget your delight and enthusiasm for each new escapade. The laughter and joy you took in misbehaving with Josh There is no way I can express my gratitude for all the many gifts you gave me…the gift of support, the gift of understanding, the gift of unconditional love and the gift of family, You were truly my surrogate Mom and the very best Grandma, my son could ever have.
I am the person I am today due in part to the influence of you and John in my life. I love you very much and you will always remain in my heart.

Bill and I have been blessed to know MOM PEARL for seven years we had lots of laughs and weekend talks about life this we shared with my sister Diane. Our weekend dinners were always a hoot. My only regret is that we did not have a lifetime together but we will meet in Heaven one day MOM. You might have been small in stature but you carried a big heart I will miss you dearly and all of the weekends for the rest of my life will be of all the memories that we have made in the seven years we have been together. I wish you a safe journey to your final resting place in Jesus's arms. You were a lady of great faith with Dad by yourside.May God keep Dad, Bill and Jeanie in his caring arms during this difficult time. God bless you all Love Dawn and Bill

Aunt Pearl was a little, tiny lady with a large, great heart and always full of energy and love. She was such a joy to be around and loved everyone who touched her life all around the world.
May you sleep in Jesus until He comes and be raised in the first resurrection (Rev. 20:6). When we arrive at the pearly gates, then you will receive your crown of glory (Rev. 22:12 Then Jesus said to me, "When I come, I will come quickly, and I will reward everyone for what he had done.") and eat the fruit from the tree of life(Rev. 22:2). As written in the book of Revelation chapter 21:4 "He will wipe away all their tears and there will be no more death, neither will there be any more sorrow, crying or pain."
May God put His loving arms around you Uncle John, Billie and Jean and give you comfort.
Love
Denise

I met Pearl and John while my family was working in Japan for the FAA in the late 80s. We bacame instant friends. Pearl was so funny and full of life. We had so much fun "shopping" for jewelry bargains in Tokyo! We got together many times to make Japanese artsy things like the covered tea boxes, Japanese dolls, wall hangings, washi covered eggs and jewelry. After we all moved back to the states, she and I kept in touch and I visited her and John 2 or 3 times when they lived in Burlington, NH. I loved her and will miss you terribly. Mary Ellen Anderson

God gave her many gifts and is now rewarded for shareing these gifts with family, friends and even strangers. Enjoy Gods presence. Your memories will always be with me. A dear friend, Sister Lorraine
