Obituary of Joan E. Shaw

Joan E. (Chambers) Shaw Born October 23, 1930 in Northfield, NJ; died November 16, 2011 in Ocala, FL. She moved to Florida in 1992 from New Jersey. She was a Northfield Crossing Guard and worked at Prudential Insurance Co. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert of Belleview, FL; daughters, Dottie Scannapieco of Jeffersonville, IN, and Linda Barwick of Summerfield, FL; brother, Albert Chambers; sister Bessie Clark; aunt, Mary Myers; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Dorothy Chambers; brother, James Chambers; and her twin sister, Jean Chambers Mason Peterson. She will be deeply missed by all. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 3:00 PM at HIERS-BAXLEY FUNERAL SERVICES, Belleview, FL 352-245-2424. Inurnment will be in Zion Cemetery at a later date.
