Obituary of Herman Woodle

Herman L. Woodle, Jr., age 67, of Ocala, FL passed away on November 18, 2011. He was born in Lake City, FL on April 5, 1944. Herman was raised in Ocala, FL where he lived all his life. At the age of 18, he began employment at Dingman Pontiac-Cadillac in Ocala where he stayed for 37 years -- starting first as a mechanic and eventually becoming Service Director. For the past 12 years he worked at Stokes Electric as the inventory control and office billing manager. His hobbies included fishing and NASCAR. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family. Herman is survived by his wife of 48 years Gayle Long Woodle of Ocala, FL; daughter Shari Privalle of Ocala, FL; daughter Dee Dee Stokes of Tampa, FL; daughter Christie Poucher of Ocala, FL; son Brandon Woodle of Orlando, FL; sisters Iris McNeely, Lavonne Dickey and Faye Howell; 5 grandchildren Celia, Aly, Cole, Cooper and Trace; 2 great grandchildren Reese and Greyson. He is predeceased by his parents Herman L. Woodle, Sr and Vivian McLeod Woodle. A celebration in memory of Herman L. Woodle, Jr. will be held Friday, November 25, 2011, at 5:30pm.
