Obituary of Geraldine J. Kirol

THE VILLAGES — Geraldine J. Kirol, 70, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. Mrs. Kirol was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and came to The Villages in 2002 from Long Island, N.Y. She was a retired chef for Allstate; was of the Catholic faith; enjoyed cooking, painting and various arts. Survivors include husband Charles, The Villages; sons Charles, Sandy Hook, Conn., and Peter, Long Island; daughters Andrea, Long Island, and Maria Jacobi, Long Island; brother Peter Costello, Long Island; sister, Joanne Wagner, Long Island; and eight grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 28 at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services.
