Momma. It has been almost 2 years since you have gone to be with Jesus, and it still feels like it was yesterday. Thanksgiving is almost here, I dread it, not because of the cooking, or all the family, I LOVE having my family here with me, and seeing how much they appreciate and enjoy the Turkey and fixin's, I dread it because that is the day I LOST YOU !! It amazes me that for 38 years I never really saw your eyes! I mean I saw them but not the colors and how Beautiful they were. Momma,Today we went to Florida National Cemetary, Where you and daddy were laid to rest. It is a Beautiful Cemetary momma, I think you and daddy like it. We had a peaceful, happy day. I KNOW you and daddy were with us, Steph and Chell and all the grandkids were there. It was a beautiful day. When we got home we ate, chicken and yellow rice, which was ok, but not like yours. Then we had Ice cream cake that Steph brought for Tori's birthday. Momma, I miss you so much, but, today was so peaceful for me, I didnt feel the pain as much as I have been, I love you.

I wouldn't have thought it was possible for my heart to hurt so bad and still live. You were one of the MOST important people in my life. I am so glad that my children were raised with you in their lives as well and I know that they will ALWAYS remember the things you taught them. You were a very special woman to so many people. You were there to care for so many of your own sisters and brothers when they were sick and took care of them until their last breath. To my Loving Ma', The only Grandma I ever knew. You were such a perfect Grandma. I say this because I had always heard what it was like at Grandmas house but never actually knew until I met Stephanie. At the time I had no ideal what a special person was about to enter my life. Mawlly was always there for me and my family, in fact I don't think that I can remember a name in the family that she wasn't there for. She always wanted the best for her family members. I am blessed beyond belief how much LOVE Ma provided all of us. Grandma pulled me to the side when she was ill and told me to make sure I take care of her Stephy and those babies of hers. Although very unfortunate, I will continue my promise to you. . ."Stephy and the kids" are in the top spot and will continue to be there as long as I have the ability to keep them there. My memory of my Great Aunt Hazel by Linda Diane Sinnott Barton (Dee-Dee): My Aunt Hazel had a sweet spirit and loving heart. Her arms were always open to give love and support no matter what the situation was. She once told me that her home was open anytime for me to come and visit and she gave me her phone number so I could call her anytime. I remember the first time I saw her after my mommy went to be with Jesus, she reminded me of my mom and my grandma all in one. I went to her crying and she wrapped her arms around me and told me that she loved me and that I was a sweet young lady.
