Obituary of Jack Dennis Bostwick

Jack Bostwick, age 72, of Ocala, FL passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011. He was born in Detroit, MI, on October 13, 1939. During his life Mr. Bostwick worked as a Stone and Brick Mason in the home and commercial construction industry. In the 1970's, Jack was recognized as the most talented stone mason in Michigan. He moved to Florida from Dearborn, MI, 11 years ago. Mr. Bostwick is survived by his wife Rita (Palanes) Bostwick of Ocala, FL; son Curt Bostwick of Livonia, MI; daughter Cathy Kleckner of Dunedin, FL; son Greg Bostwick of Navarro Beach, FL; son Mark Bostwick of Northville, MI; daughter Robin Williams of Brighton, MI; daughter Lisa Kubinski of Westland, MI; brother Sandy Bostwick of Saint Clair Shores, MI; brother Larry Bostwick of Sterling Heights, MI; brother Wayne Bostwick of Ocklawaha, FL; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack loved skiing, gardening and animals. He used to raise chickens and rabbits. He loved to travel and cruise in his 1986 Corvette. Jack had a great sense of humor and all of his friends and family enjoyed his smile and great personality. In 2002, he was baptized and became a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church through the RCIA program where he met his wife, Rita. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, 4047 NE 21st Street, Ocala, FL on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 11am. A visitation for Mr. Bostwick will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 3-5pm and prior to the mass at the church on Tuesday from 10-11am. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL.
