Obituary of Susan Wicklund

Susan Dawn Wicklund passed away on December 4, 2011 in the Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida after a brief illness. Susan was born August 24, 1949 in Waukegan, Illinois. She graduated from Zion Benton Township High School in 1967. She retired in 2004 from the Illinois Dept. of Human Services/Office of Developmental Disabilities. She had been employed at the Ann M. Kiley Center which is located in Waukegan, Illinois. After her retirement Sue relocated to Ocklawaha, Florida where she lived until her death. Sue enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, swimming, snorkeling, nature, flee market shopping, and yard sales. She especially treasured time with her two sons, William and Michael, and looked forward to visits with her grandson Cody. Surviving Susan are: her son Michael Ivar Wicklund of Ocklawaha, FL; grandson Cody Ray William Wicklund of Wintergarden, FL; and sister Beverly (Jon) Warren of Fitchburg, WI. She also had many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Reynold Iver and Olive Mae (Pemble) Wicklund; her daughter Carla Ann Wicklund; her son William Kurt Wicklund; her sister Barbara Kennedy; and her nephews Robert and Brian Kennedy.
