Obituary of James Thomas Cassidy

Cassidy, James Belleview - James Cassidy, 81, of Belleview passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011. Mr. Cassidy is a native of Ireland and moved to Belleview in 1990. Mr. Cassidy enjoyed music and was very active in St. Theresa Catholic Church ministries including Pastoral Care Ministries, Eucharistic Ministries, Usher, Respect Life, Minister of the sick, and he started the Bereavement Ministry at the church; he especially enjoyed morning church. He is survived by his wife Mary of Belleview, daughters Elizabeth Minnick and Margaret Mohler; sons Kevin Cassidy., Brendan Cassidy, Frank Cassidy and step-children Wanda Murray, Ann Sinicropi, Walter Podhajecki, Edward Podhajecki, and Richard Podhajecki. He was predeceased by son Gregory Cassidy. Mr. Cassidy is survived by a large family in Ireland, including many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St Theresa Catholic Church in Belleview.
