Obituary of Barbara Evelyn Betts

BETTS, Barbara Evelyn Barbara Evelyn Betts of Ocala, Florida passed away on December 10, 2011. She was born August 2, 1946 in Middletown, Connecticut. She was a singer, songwriter and musician, blessing many with her music. Barbara grew up in Clewiston, Florida where she was an active member of the Church of Christ and volunteer at the Hendry County Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gerald C. Betts and her sisters: Sandra Stanley, Judy Weaver and Sally Williams. Barbara was well known in her community for her giving heart and warm smile. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held at the Central Church of Christ in Ocala, Florida on December 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.
