Anna DiStefano, 90
Ocala - Anna DiStefano, 90, went home to the Lord on December 12, 2011. She was born on October 15, 1921, in Brooklyn, NY. She worked in Brooklyn as a seamstress for several years, then retired with her family to Beverly Hills, FL, in 1972. After her husband, John, passed away in 1981, she moved to Ocala and later to Belleview. She spent the rest of her life as a loving mother and a proud grandmother. Best known for her Italian cooking, many have cherished the wonderful Italian cookies that she would bake.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nina and Ken Nadeau, and her granddaughter, Natalie.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17th, at 10:00AM at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Belleview, with Fr. David Vivero, officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Nadeau's home. Arrangements are by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Ocala Chapel
