Obituary of Jerome Joseph Reichel

Reichel, Jerome Joseph 82 Jesus came and called Jerome Reichel to his eternal home on December 14, 2011 in Ocala, FL. Mr. Reichel was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and sang in the Choir. He was a Salesman with the Telephone Company in Pittsburgh, PA. He was a Veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Veteran's Club of Cherrywood Estates and enjoyed playing tennis, hunting & fishing, singing, and motorcycles. Mr. Reichel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Audrey, dauhgters Elizabeth Malone and husband Michael of Chicago, IL, Mary Ellen Stone and husband Richard of Manassas, VA, son Peter Reichel and wife Lana of Pittsburgh, PA and brother George F. Reichel of Pittsburgh, PA and 2 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 8:30 AM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Ocala, FL with Father Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating.. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:00 - 7:00 PM, with prayers at 2:00 PM. Interment will be on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors provided by Angela Santos VFW Post #4781.
