Obituary of Richard McLaughlin

The Villages - Richard Alan McLaughlin, 73 died on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Promise Hospital of Florida at The Villages. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to this area from Pittsburgh in 2003. Mr. McLaughlin served his country in the Air National Guard. He was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Oxford. He was a member of Village Voices, former member of Villages Philharmonic, member of Masonic Lodge and Way Way Off Broadway Players. He is survived by his wife, Nancy McLaughlin, The Villages; sons, Brian McLaughlin, Leesburg, FL and David McLaughlin, Holmdel, NJ; daughter-in-law, Valerie McLaughlin, Holmdel, NJ; grandchildren, Matthew and Morgan McLaughlin, Holmdel, NJ; brothers, Sherman (Sue) McLaughlin, Pittsburgh, PA and Keith (Mary Pat) McLaughlin, Middletown, NJ. Funeral services will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, 5155 Buenos Aires Blvd., on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 7 pm. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services. Please consider making a contribution to a charity of your choice in memory of Mr. McLaughlin.
