Obituary of Wilbur Thompson

Wilbur R. "Bo" Thompson, age 75, of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011. He was born in Ocala, FL on February 21, 1936. Bo lived all his life in Ocala. He was in the automotive field in Marion County for over 50 years. He loved to go on country rides around Marion County. He also enjoyed spending time on the water with his family. Bo loved his animals. He was a longtime member of the Ocala Elks Lodge. He is survived by his companion Billie Johnson of Ocala, FL; daughter Leigh Ann Thompson; son Kirk (Cindy) Thompson and granddaughter Madison Thompson all of Ocala, FL; brother Murray Thompson of Franklin, NC; and his former wife Donna Thompson of Ocala, FL. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Service, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at 10:30am. A reception will follow the service at the Hiers-Baxley reception center.
