Obituary of Miguel Ulloa
Miguel Ulloa, a devoted family patriarch and treasured friend, passed away peacefully at his home on April 17, 2024, at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on November 12, 1935, to Hipolito Ulloa and Emilia Rodriguez, Miguel was instilled with a strong work ethic from a young age, supporting his mother and sisters. This dedication continued throughout his life.
In 1957, Miguel married the love of his life, Luz, after they became neighbors in their teenage years. The couple went on to nurture and raise nine children, creating a family filled with love and care. Miguel's commitment to his family extended to his active involvement in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, embodying his role as a family man wholeheartedly.
Seeking better opportunities for his family, Miguel relocated to Puerto Rico in 1965. There, he worked in various capacities, always ensuring his family's needs were met. His love for others shone through his involvement in his church and his service as a chaplain, following years of dedicated missionary work. Miguel found joy in gardening and fishing, hobbies that reflected his love for nature and tranquility.
Miguel was predeceased by his son Gustavo in 2015. He leaves behind his wife Luz; children Miguel, Cesar, Xiomara, David, Lourdes, Maribel, Jackeline, and Rebecca; along with 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His passing also leaves a void in the hearts of numerous relatives and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing and funeral service to celebrate Miguel’s life at Hiers-Baxley, Belleview, FL, on April 19, 2024. Viewing begins at 5:00 PM and service at 6:00 PM. A pre-burial viewing will take place on April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Belleview, FL, followed by the burial at Highlands Memorial Park, Ocala, FL, at 2:00 PM.
Miguel’s legacy of warmth, wisdom, and kindness will forever resonate in the lives of those he touched.

Miguel Ulloa, un devoto patriarca y un amigo preciado, falleció pacíficamente en su hogar el 17 de abril de 2024, a los 88 años, rodeado de su querida familia.
Nacido en Santiago, República Dominicana el 12 de Noviembre de 1935, hijo de Hipólito Ulloa y Emilia Rodríguez, Miguel fue inculcado desde muy joven con una fuerte ética de trabajo, apoyando a su madre y a sus hermanas. Esta dedicación continuó a lo largo de su vida.
En 1957, Miguel se casó con el amor de su vida, Luz, después de que se convirtieron en vecinos en su adolescencia. La pareja fue adelante criando a nueve hijos y creando una familia llena de amor y cuidado. El compromiso de Miguel con su familia se extendió a su participación activa en las vidas de sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos, personificando de todo corazón su papel de hombre de familia. Miguel se trasladó a Puerto Rico en 1965. Allí, trabajó en diversas capacidades, siempre asegurando que las necesidades de su familia fueran satisfechas. Su amor por los demás brilló a través de su participación en su iglesia y su servicio como capellán, después de años de dedicado trabajo misionero. Miguel encontró alegría en la jardinería y la pesca, pasatiempos que reflejaban su amor por la naturaleza y la tranquilidad.
Miguel fue precedido en la muerte por su hijo Gustavo en 2015. Deja atrás a su esposa Luz; hijos Miguel, César, Xiomara, David, Lourdes, Maribel, Jackeline y Rebecca; junto con 18 nietos y 8 bisnietos. Su fallecimiento también deja un vacío en los corazones de numerosos familiares y amigos.
Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir a un velorio conmemorativo para celebrar la vida de Miguel Ulloa en Hiers-Baxley, Belleview, FL, el 19 de Abril del 2024 a las 5:00 PM. Servicio sera a la 6:00 PM del mismo dia. Un velorio previo al entierro tendrá lugar el 20 de Abril del 2024 a las 11:00 AM a 1:00 PM, seguido por el entierro en Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL, a las 2:00 PM.
