Obituary of Deborah Ann Dilkes
Deborah Ann Dilkes, 64, of Falling Waters passed away on Tues. April 9, 2024 at her home in Tavares, FL in hospice care. She was born. Feb 20, 1960, in Baltimore, MD to the late Marva Jean Catrow.
She graduated from Musselmen High School and then earned her LPN at James Rumsey Tech. She married Ike Dilkes in 1978 and they owned and operated Dilkes Supply in Hedgesville, WV for 19 years. They moved to Cordova, MD and she worked for West Marine for 20 years along with captaining boats. She retired and moved to FL in 2010.
She loved horses and rodeos and was a member of the South Berkeley Saddle Club. Later she moved on to motorcycles, boats, and antique boats. Debbie was a member of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, the Finger Lakes and the Sunnyland Chapters and most of all she loved life.
She was preceded in death by her mother Marva Jean Catrow and father Glenville L Catrow, and a baby brother Robert Catrow.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Isaac (Ike) N. Dilkes, her brother Glenville Catrow II and his wife Angey, nephews and nieces Nathaniel Catrow and his wife Alexis Catrow, Samuel Catrow, Grace Catrow, Scott Cambell, Diane Roach, Jeremiah Cambell, Lisa Cambell and her heart-string kids Clara Thomas, Kyle Schuhmacher, Chrissy Galang and many others.
