Obituary of Delia Duverger

Delia Duverger, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, two granddaughters, Nicole and Blanca and one great grandson, Lane. Delia was survived by six children; Elizabeth (Jim), Emily (Greg), Bocky (Sherry), John (Carrie), Migdalia (Scotty) and Hector (Hanane); 24 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Delia migrated from Cuba as a young woman and raised her six beautiful children. As her family grew, Delia became Mommy, Grandma, Abuela and Bella to many. She treasured her family and cared deeply for each one. Most of all, Delia had a strong faith and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are all comforted knowing she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Viewing will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home on Silver Springs Boulevard. Services for Delia will be held at Hiers-Baxley on Sunday, April 7, 2024, viewing at 10:00 am - 11:00 am; services will be held immediately following at 11:00 am; and interment services at Anthony Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
