Obituary of Elmer James Keim

The family of Elmer James Keim, Jr. (Jim), Belleview, Florida, is sad to announce his passing on March 17, 2024 at home with his wife Kay. He was 78. Jim was born in Seattle, Washington on June 6, 1945 to Elmer and Grace (Markle) Keim. After graduating from International Correspondence Schools (ICS), he attended Lansing Community College. In 1967, he married the former Kay Davis. They were married in Germany where he was serving with the United States Air Force. He was an accurate speed typist. He spent his employment years with United Parcel Service (UPS). He received numerous awards for speed and accuracy. He was a licensed amateur radio operator. His main hobby was flying – seeing anything that flew. He was in a local flying club in Ocala, FL. Interment will be on April 9, 2024, 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
