Obituary of Claire Dianne Gaudette

Claire Dianne Gaudette, 86, passed peacefully from this life Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

Born in Chelsea, MA she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Veronica (Lyons) McHatton.

Claire retired from the Postal Service, and along with her husband Phil, moved to the Villages in 2007. She loved spending time with her friends and family, and the occasional trip to the casino to play penny slots.

Claire leaves her daughter, Dawn (Kevin) McGregor, Son, James Gaudette, Granddaughters; Jaime Palmucci, Katy (Paul) Wellman, and Annie (Justin) LaBelle, Great-grandchildren; Victor Wellman, Audrey Wellman, Foster LaBelle, and Maven LaBelle, Siblings Ken (Martha) McHatton and Paul (Iris) McHatton, plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phil, and siblings, Jack, Mary, Al, and Elaine.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, The Villages on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 8:30 AM. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
