Obituary of George Edward Siebert ll

George Edward Siebert II, 78 passed away on February 23, 2024 in Ocala, Florida. He was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on December 16, 1945. He attended Teaneck high school and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Stockton University in New Jersey. George enlisted in the NJ state police on December 15th, 1967, as a proud member of the 74th class and retired on March 1st, 1997, at the rank of Captain. After relocating to Florida, he joined the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and finished his career as a Sheriff’s Deputy for 13 years.

He had a passion for the outdoors and loved nature. He enjoyed fishing and had a great love for all animals. George was multi-talented. He owned a business, Shore Sprinkler and Irrigation when he lived in New Jersey. He was a gifted writer; he was handy in wood working, electricity, landscaping, and everyone knew him for his amazing sense of humor.

George was predeceased by his parents, Vivian and George Edward Siebert I. He is survived by his wife, Kim Siebert, his daughter and son-in-law, Erin Siebert-Woolf and Edward Woolf, son George (Teddy) Edward Siebert III, stepchildren Jamie and his wife Alex Zimbleman, Chrissie Zimbleman and Jeffrey Zimbleman, grandchildren Kaitlyn Sabat and Miles Woolf, sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Jack Pullhorn, and three nieces, Susan and Jennifer Pullhorn and Jennifer McWhirter.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services 910 East Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL. 34470.

A second memorial services will be held at New Jersey State Police Division Headquarters in West Trenton, at a later date.
